An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Venue Manager to join the team of a well-established hospitality and entertainment venue in South Morang.
Operating successfully for a few years, this venue has built a strong local following and continues to grow. We’re looking for a confident, hands-on leader who can maintain high standards, inspire their team, and deliver exceptional guest experiences every day.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being on the floor, leading by example, and creating a positive culture where both staff and guests thrive.
About the Role
As Venue Manager, you’ll oversee within the management team the day-to-day operation of a busy, family-focused venue offering quality food, beverage and entertainment. You’ll work closely with senior leadership while taking full ownership of the venue’s performance, team development and guest experience.
A key part of the role is leading the venue during the busy Saturday trade, ensuring service standards, team performance and guest satisfaction remain at the highest level.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the daily operation of the venue with a hands-on management style
- Drive exceptional customer service and maintain high operational standards
- Manage rosters, labour costs, stock control and venue performance
- Lead the venue during peak Saturday trade and other busy service periods
- Build a positive, accountable and engaged team culture
- Ensure compliance with food safety, liquor licensing and workplace procedures
- Work closely with senior management to achieve business and financial goals
About You
- Previous experience as a Venue Manager or Assistant Manager
- A proven leader who enjoys developing and motivating teams
- Confident managing busy service periods while remaining calm under pressure
- Strong understanding of labour management, stock control and venue profitability
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A hands-on operator who leads from the front
- Available to work a rotating roster, including evenings and weekends.
