The Opportunity

As an Employment Engagement Officer, you'll work closely with job seekers, employers, insurers, and rehabilitation professionals to achieve successful employment outcomes.

You'll identify opportunities in the local labour market, build strong employer partnerships, and advocate for clients to secure meaningful and sustainable employment.

This role offers a balance of employer engagement, candidate support, reverse marketing, and business development, making every day different and rewarding.

What you'll be doing

• Assessing and profiling job-ready clients to support employment outcomes
• Matching candidates to suitable vacancies based on their skills, experience, interests, and capacity
• Building and maintaining relationships with local employers
• Identifying new employment opportunities through employer engagement and cold canvassing
• Reverse marketing candidates to prospective employers
• Supporting clients with job search activities, interview preparation, and employment planning
• Researching labour market opportunities and industry trends
• Promoting employer incentive programs and return-to-work solutions
• Maintaining accurate records and case notes within internal systems
• Providing regular updates and progress reports to rehabilitation and case management teams

About You

You are motivated by helping people succeed and enjoy building strong relationships with employers and stakeholders.

We're interested in candidates with experience in:

• Recruitment or agency recruitment
• Employment services or disability employment services
• Reverse marketing
• Business development or sales
• Labour hire or workforce solutions
• Return-to-work, rehabilitation, or vocational services

You'll also bring:

• Strong relationship-building and networking skills
• Confidence engaging employers and generating opportunities
• Excellent communication and influencing skills
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and achieve targets
• Strong administration and reporting capabilities
• A proactive, resilient, and solutions-focused approach
• A genuine passion for helping people achieve positive outcomes

A National Criminal History Check will be required for the successful applicant.
