About the role:
Join a key transformation function supporting major business improvement initiatives across Coal Services Health, Mines Rescue, Regulation & Compliance, and Corporate Support Services. As Change Manager, reporting to the Enterprise Change Manager, you will partner with leaders, project teams and stakeholders to drive the successful adoption of new systems, processes and ways of working.
Working within a newly established PMO, you'll lead change activities across a diverse portfolio of projects, helping teams navigate change, build capability and achieve lasting business outcomes. This is a hands-on role where you'll influence across a broad range of stakeholders while embedding consistent change practices, governance and adoption measures.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to meaningful transformation initiatives within a purpose-driven organisation that plays a critical role in supporting the NSW coal industry.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Deliver end-to-end change management support across a range of strategic transformation initiatives.
- Help leaders and employees successfully navigate organisational change.
- Assess change impacts and develop practical solutions to support adoption and readiness.
- Create engaging communication, stakeholder engagement and learning strategies.
- Facilitate workshops and collaborate with project teams to drive successful outcomes.
- Track change progress, identify risks and support smooth business transitions.
- Build change capability across the organisation and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
- Work across diverse business areas including Health, Mines Rescue, Regulation & Compliance, and Corporate Support Services.
About you:
Your education, experience and skills will include:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Human Resources, Communications, Organisational Development, Psychology or a related discipline.
- Experience with recognised change methodologies (e.g. Prosci, APMG or equivalent) will be highly regarded.
- Demonstrated experience supporting transformation programs, PMO-led initiatives or enterprise-wide change projects.
- Ability to develop and implement stakeholder engagement, communication, learning and adoption strategies that drive successful change outcomes.
- Strong stakeholder management, influencing and leadership coaching skills.
- Experience identifying and managing change impacts, adoption risks, resistance and change fatigue.
- Proven ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities and deliver both strategic and operational change activities.
- Experience measuring and reporting on change readiness, adoption and business outcomes through established governance frameworks.
