Chefs/Cooks SGW17

We are looking for experienced chefs and cooks for our clients in Roma and Charleville, QLD. These positions are full time, $75,000 -$95,000 a year salary + Superannuation depending on experience and the position.

Requirements: 

• Ensure food preparation and quality is of the highest standard possible
• Manage stock levels and follow company procedures and recipe guidelines
• Ensure hygiene is maintained to the required standards
• Maintain a clean and organised kitchen during and after service
• Assist the head chef in cost control and assist in ensuring budgeted profit and targets are met
• Able to work unsupervised and harmoniously with the rest of the brigade

Experience: 

• At least 1 year of relevant employment experience
• Experienced in prep and a la carte essential (Lunch & Dinner)
• Applicant will ideally hold relevant vocational or tertiary qualifications
• Experience in fast paced, service and quality focused venues
• Guest orientated and passionate about food
• Sound knowledge of food hygiene practices
• The ability to work well under pressure with an eye for detail
• Excellent interpersonal skills, relatively good English communication skills
• Possess a positive attitude and work well as a part of the team
