About the opportunity
Join WorkSafe's Scheme Integrity Investigations team and play an important role in protecting the integrity of Victoria's workers' compensation scheme. Working alongside investigators, claims analysts and senior leaders, you'll provide investigative, governance and administrative support to help assess referrals, coordinate key business processes and deliver high-quality outcomes for stakeholders. In this role, you will:

Support the assessment and triage of referrals and allegations received by the Scheme Integrity Investigations team.

Provide high-quality operational, governance and administrative support to investigators, claims analysts and divisional leaders.

Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, capture minutes and maintain action registers for leadership forums and panels.

Prepare and quality assure investigation correspondence, reports, presentations and other key documentation.

Maintain accurate investigation records, databases and document management systems.

Respond to enquiries and provide a high standard of service to internal and external stakeholders.

Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems and templates to enhance team efficiency and consistency.

Build strong working relationships across WorkSafe, our Agents and other key stakeholders.

Ensure information is managed in line with legislative and organisational requirements.

About you
You're a highly organised and professional administrator with strong communication skills, sound judgement and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service. You enjoy working with a variety of stakeholders, can manage competing priorities and have a keen eye for detail. Ideally, you will possess the following skills and experience:

In-depth knowledge of the Workplace Injury Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 2013.

Ability to understand and interpret legislation.

Experience gathering, analysing and interpreting information to support decision-making.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify practical solutions.

Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to build productive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.

Experience in influencing, negotiation and conflict resolution.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
