We are currently recruiting for Temporary Admissions & Administration Officers to support an organisation within the education sector during one of their busiest periods of the year.

Starting ASAP, this is a short-term, approximately 7-week contract working full-time hours, with the potential for extension depending on business needs.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong administration skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys detailed, process-driven work.

Key Details
This is a predominantly administrative position, with some phone-based responsibilities. You will play an important role in reviewing and assessing applications and supporting documentation, ensuring information is processed accurately and within required timeframes.

  • Contract: Approximately 7 weeks, with potential for extension depending on business needs
  • Hours: Full-time hours across 8am-6pm (8-hour shifts)
  • Location: Melbourne CBD
  • Hybrid working: 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home
  • Start date: ASAP - approximately Monday 5th October
  • Pay rate:$56.55 per hour + Super, paid weekly on a casual basis

Please note: To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to have your own laptop, keyboard, mouse and secondary screen available for your work-from-home days.

You will also be required to hold a valid Working with Children Check or be willing to obtain one at your own cost if successful.

About You
We are looking for someone who is highly organised, accurate and comfortable working within a busy, process-driven environment. You will ideally have:

  • Strong administration experience
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • The ability to manage high-volume workloads and work to deadlines
  • A professional, empathetic and resilient approach
  • Confidence learning new systems and processes
  • Experience handling sensitive and confidential information
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
