At our Bundaberg Site, we support our local businesses from the Bundy region with their various packaging and processing.
As the Administration Officer you will perform day to day administrative tasks to support the smooth and effective operation of the business. Based on site, you will be working Part-time hours from 8am -3pm Monday to Friday, on a short-term contract fixed term (temporary with a view to becoming full time), to assist with our front desk and various administrative duties.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll provide hands-on administration support across the site, including:
- Scheduling work completed by offsite operations
- Managing day-to-day site administration to keep operations running efficiently.
- Using finance and administration systems to maintain records, raise purchase orders and process invoices.
- Coordinating meetings, appointments and site events.
- Managing incoming calls, correspondence, enquiries and mail distribution.
- Building positive, collaborative relationships with customers, colleagues and stakeholders.
What you’ll bring
You’re an organised and approachable administrator who enjoys variety and takes pride in getting the details right.
Ideally, you’ll have:
- Previous experience in administration, and business support.
- Experience working with finance systems, including purchase orders, invoicing and maintaining financial records if required.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Great attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and a genuine customer-service mindset.
- The confidence to work with confidential or sensitive information appropriately.
