Chef

Located in Glenmore Park NSW 2745, Enzo’s Cucina is currently seeking a motivated Chef to become part of their professional kitchen team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning and preparing a variety of dishes in accordance with established menus and restaurant standards.
• Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes while maintaining consistency in quality, flavour and presentation.
• Monitoring the quality of ingredients and dishes throughout all stages of preparation and service.
• Assisting with menu planning, portion control and estimating food and labour requirements.
• Managing food preparation and coordinating kitchen activities to ensure efficient and timely service.
• Maintaining appropriate stock levels and assisting with ordering and storage of food supplies.
• Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements.
• Providing guidance and support to kitchen staff and assisting with training when required.

About you:

• At least one year of relevant experience as a Chef or in a similar professional kitchen role.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and kitchen operations.
• Ability to maintain high standards of food quality, presentation and consistency.
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene requirements.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a kitchen team.

Job Type: Permanent/Full-time
Salary: $75,000 - $83,000 per annum
