This role will play a key part in supporting development applications, building certification processes and customer enquiries, ensuring high-quality administrative support is delivered across the department.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support for development applications and planning processes.
- Assist with Building Certification administration, including Construction Certificates, Occupation Certificates and related documentation.
- Manage correspondence, records, reports and data entry activities.
- Respond to customer enquiries and provide accurate information to internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records and assist with reporting and statistics.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and compliance with relevant legislation and council policies.
- Work closely with team members to deliver efficient and responsive customer service
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in a business support, administration or customer service role.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Advanced skills across Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment.
- Experience working collaboratively within a team while also being able to work independently.
