Venue Manager

Irish Murphy's Hobart is part of the Norton Hospitality Group of venues.

We are seeking a hospitality professional to lead our iconic waterfront venue. We need to find the right person that has all the skills and experience required to manage a public bar, live music, dining and functions. We are after an exceptional leader who has a passion for customer service and who excels in creating a great atmosphere.

As Venue Manager you will lead your team to achieve your venue's performance, with the back up and support of a national team.

• Systems - be computer literate and highly skilled in POS systems (preferably H&L) and MS Office applications

Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year. This is an Annualised Salaried position with access to a Performance Incentive Bonus Scheme after successful completion of probation period.

There is an expectation to work a minimum 38 minimum hours to maximum 45 hours (as reasonable overtime). Additional hours above reasonable, as worked occasionally and as necessary, are remunerated.

We support work/life balance to ensure overtime is kept to a minimum. But there are occasions when it is necessary due to unexpected events.
