We're looking for a confident, experienced chef to join our kitchen team and take charge of the pass and grill section. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives under pressure, leads by example, is reliable, and takes pride in consistent, high-quality food.
What we're looking for:
- 3–4+ years of relevant kitchen experience
- Strong, confident command of the grill and pass sections
- Proven ability to lead and support a small team during service
- Sound understanding of health and safety, food safety, hygiene, and kitchen organisation
- Experience with kitchen stock control, including ordering, rotation, and waste management
- Ability to work under pressure with a calm, organised approach during busy service periods
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to the full-time roster
- What you'll be doing:
- Running the grill and pass sections during service
- Coordinating ticket timing and plate presentation
- Supervising and guiding junior kitchen staff
- Managing kitchen stock control, including stock takes, ordering, and storage
- Maintaining food quality, consistency, health and safety, and cleanliness standards
- Working closely with the Head Chef/Kitchen Manager
