Wong-derful Restaurant is seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to join our team in Adelaide on a full-time basis.
This role is responsible for oversees daily front-of-house and back-of-house operations, manages staff, controls budgets, and ensures health and safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant and ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Manage and coordinate restaurant staff, including rostering, training, supervision and performance.
- Maintain high standards of customer service and respond to customer feedback and complaints in a professional manner.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, workplace health and safety and other relevant operational requirements.
- Manage stock levels, purchasing and relationships with suppliers.
- Monitor operating costs, labour costs and other restaurant expenses to support business performance.
- Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities to improve service, customer experience and restaurant revenue.
- Coordinate restaurant promotions, special events and other marketing activities.
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness, presentation and service are maintained throughout the restaurant.
- Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure effective coordination between front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
Skills and Experience
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in restaurant or hospitality management.
- A relevant qualification in Hospitality Management, Business Management or a related field will be highly regarded.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Good understanding of food safety and workplace health and safety requirements.
- Experience with staff rostering, stock control and restaurant cost management.
