Your New Company
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Generalist to join a growing and values-driven organisation. Working as part of a collaborative People & Culture team, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality HR support across the full employee life cycle while partnering with leaders to drive positive people outcomes.
Your New Role
Reporting to the HR Manager, you will provide broad generalist HR support across a diverse workforce.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing advice and guidance on employee relations, performance management and workplace policies.
  • Supporting recruitment, onboarding and offboarding activities.
  • Assisting leaders with workforce planning and people initiatives.
  • Managing employee life cycle processes and ensuring HR records remain accurate and compliant.
  • Supporting learning and development programs and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Assisting with HR projects, policy reviews and process improvements.
  • Interpreting relevant legislation, awards and enterprise agreements.
  • Contributing to workplace investigations and employee relations matters as required.
  • Preparing HR reports, insights and workforce data for stakeholders.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Previous experience in a generalist HR position.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and HR best practice.
  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
  • Experience working within healthcare, NFP, education, government or corporate environments will be advantageous.
