The business is currently seeking a motivated and skilled Chefs to support kitchen operations and uphold the venue’s high culinary and service standards.

Location: 518a Old South Head Road, Rose Bay, NSW 2029

Salary Package: $78,000 - $83,000 AUD

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Prepare, cook, and present menu items in line with Aambra’s quality, flavour, and presentation standards.
  2. Support menu execution and contribute to menu development under the guidance of senior kitchen staff.
  3. Ensure all food preparation and service complies with food safety, hygiene, and WHS regulations.
  4. Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient workstation at all times.
  5. Assist with stock control, including ordering, receiving, and correct storage of kitchen supplies.
  6. Perform effectively during busy service periods while maintaining consistency and attention to detail.
  7. Work collaboratively with chefs and kitchen team members to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications and Experience Required

  1. Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification.
  2. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a commercial kitchen.
  3. Strong understanding of food safety, kitchen operations, and quality control.
  4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.
  5. Strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.
