This November, The Sporting Globe is landing in Greensborough and this one is going to be a monster.
Our biggest venue yet. Multi level. Sports bar. Gaming. Huge screens. Big game days. Cold beers. Packed weekends.
Basically, subtle isn’t really the brief.
We’re looking for Assistant Venue Managers to join our opening leadership team and help us bring the whole thing to life.
You won’t be walking into someone else’s venue. You’ll be there from the start, helping build the team, set the standards and create the culture of our biggest Sporting Globe yet.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Leading from the front when the venue is pumping
Running great shifts and keeping service sharp across the venue
Helping recruit, train and build a brand new team
Coaching your crew and creating a culture people actually want to be part of
Supporting stock, compliance, reporting and day to day operations
Taking charge when senior management are away
Making sure big game days feel exactly as big as they should
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- You’ve led teams in busy hospitality environments before, ideally across pubs, bars, restaurants or entertainment venues.
- You can keep your cool when the place is packed, know how to run a great shift and aren’t afraid to jump in when things get hectic.
- You’re confident, hands on, great with people and know how to get a team firing.
- RSA is essential, with RSG and TAB knowledge highly regarded.
- And it probably helps if you don’t mind a bit of sport.
