We’re looking for a seasoned Assistant Manager who brings energy, strong leadership and a passion for local hospitality. You’ll love connecting with the community, supporting your team and delivering great guest experiences while helping drive The Woodstock’s continued success.
The Role
As Assistant Manager, you’re an inspirational people leader with hospitality in your DNA. You thrive in fast-paced pub environments, confidently overseeing the entire venue from gaming floors and live entertainment to busy bars and dining rooms while setting the tone for service, standards, and culture.
Hands-on and operational, the role oversees the day-to-day running of the venue including opening and closing, back-of-house administration and banking, hiring, rostering, and developing high-performing teams. You lead from the front, motivating and coaching your team through busy services, maintaining high standards across all areas of the venue, and ensuring the patron experience is exceptional—every time.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about great food and have a genuine interest in creative, well executed beverages that enhance the guest experience with a background working as an Assistant Manager for some of Sydney’s most reputable pubs!
