Our client is a well-established organisation delivering specialist services across major infrastructure, engineering, construction and industrial projects. They are seeking an experienced Finance & Administration Officer to join their team and provide essential support across finance, administration and day-to-day operations.
About the Role
This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys working across accounts receivable, invoicing, timesheets and general administration within a busy operational environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing and reviewing timesheets.
- Managing accounts receivable, invoicing, debtor follow-up and client portal submissions.
- Processing purchase orders and supplier invoices.
- Ensuring project labour, materials and consumable costs are accurately captured and recovered.
- Providing reception and general administrative support across the business.
- Coordinating travel and accommodation bookings and associated invoices.
- Assisting with freight, despatch and receiving activities.
- Providing general finance and administrative support to various departments.
About You
You will be organised, reliable and confident managing competing priorities, with:
- Previous experience in finance administration, accounts receivable or a similar role.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience with invoicing, timesheets and debtor management.
- Strong administration and communication skills.
- Experience with an ERP (MS Dynamics 365) highly regarded but not essential.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
