Day to day aspects of the Service Desk Analyst Role:

• Provide day to day workstation and network troubleshooting and support, and working within the ICT Service Desk and be involved in day to day ICT operations.
• Primarily based at one of the two main sites to welcome end-user requests and provide advice in conjunction with technical support.
• The role will entail onsite support, phone support (with remote session where practical), on client workstation and smart devices, supporting operating systems, applications, client networks and conferencing facilities.
• Identification and logging of incidents, triage, categorisation and request prioritisation.
• Participate in after-hours on-call roster supporting after hours production and operations.
• Assist with administrative duties such as asset allocation, reconciliation and other non-technical administration duties.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge, ensuring personal and professional development in line with the ICT strategy, provide advice on policies, processes and procedures relating to the transition of ICT Services
• Work in accordance with personal and department agreed Service Levels.
