Park Bong Sook (PBS) Chicken Chatswood is a Korean-style chicken restaurant located in the heart of Chatswood. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Manager to oversee the daily operations of our business, manage staff, maintain high customer service standards, and ensure efficient and profitable business operations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Plan, organise, direct and coordinate the daily operations of the business to ensure efficient service delivery.
Develop and implement operational policies, procedures and strategies to improve business performance and profitability.
Manage stock levels, monitor inventory, coordinate supplier orders and ensure adequate availability of products and supplies.
Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiate pricing and monitor product quality and delivery schedules.
Monitor sales performance, analyse financial reports and implement strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
Oversee pricing strategies, promotional activities and product displays to maximise sales and customer engagement.
Recruit, train, supervise and manage staff, including preparing work rosters and evaluating employee performance.
Ensure employees deliver excellent customer service and comply with established operational procedures.
Handle customer enquiries, complaints and feedback professionally to maintain customer satisfaction.
Monitor operating expenses, control costs and assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts.
Ensure compliance with relevant food safety, workplace health and safety, hygiene and employment regulations.
Maintain accurate records of sales, stock movements, staff performance and other operational activities.
Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, customer satisfaction and overall business growth.
Qualifications and Experience
Essential Requirements:
Compulsory Qualification: A minimum of Diploma qualification in Retail Management, Business Management, Hospitality Management or a closely related field.
Experience: Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience in retail management, store management or a similar managerial position.
Strong leadership, organisational and staff management skills.
Sound knowledge of inventory management, budgeting, sales monitoring and cost control.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently, solve operational problems and make effective business decisions.
Good understanding of workplace health and safety requirements and relevant business regulations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
What We Offer
