About the Role:

Make a meaningful impact in mental health nursing within Acacia Mental Health Unit at North Canberra Hospital. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality, recovery-focused care to consumers experiencing acute mental health needs while working as part of a multidisciplinary team.

In this role, you will deliver comprehensive clinical care in collaboration with psychiatry, allied health, medical, and nursing staff to support positive consumer outcomes. You will be responsible for coordinating and leading nursing care within the clinical environment, responding effectively to rapidly changing situations, and contributing to a safe, therapeutic, and person-centred model of care.

The successful applicant will demonstrate strong clinical judgement, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic inpatient mental health setting, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of consumers, carers, staff, and visitors.
