About the role

Working closely with leaders across a varied and complex organisation, you will provide trusted HR advice and take ownership of a broad portfolio of Employee Relations matters from initial assessment through to resolution.
You will partner closely with leaders to understand issues, assess risk, provide practical advice and support them through challenging conversations and people decisions.

Your responsibilities will include:

About you

You will bring:

  • Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and Modern Awards
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex Employee Relations matters
  • Strong investigation, writing and documentation skills
  • Excellent judgement and the ability to balance risk, commercial considerations and the human impact of decisions
  • Confidence coaching leaders through sensitive situations
  • A calm and measured approach with the ability to de-escalate challenging matters
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
  • The ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach

Most importantly, you will understand that good HR can protect the organisation, maintain appropriate boundaries and treat people with dignity at the same time.

What’s on offer?

This is a great opportunity to join an established global organisation and experienced HR team where you will have the autonomy to manage your work, while being supported by a collaborative and down-to-earth team.

You can expect:

  • Approximately six months of meaningful Employee Relations work
  • Immediate start, where possible
  • Hybrid working arrangements
  • Free on-site parking
  • Modern offices and equipment
