Your new companyAre you an experienced Executive Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys being at the centre of a busy, high-performing team? We are partnering with a well-respected not-for-profit organisation seeking a proactive and highly organised Executive Assistant to provide support to a senior executive team. This is a varied and hands-on position where no two days are the same. The successful candidate will bring a positive attitude, excellent judgement, and the ability to stay one step ahead in an environment that moves quickly and requires adaptability.
Your new roleReporting directly to a senior executive, you will provide high-level administrative and organisational support across a broad range of responsibilities, including:
- Complex diary and inbox management
- Coordinating meetings, appointments and stakeholder engagements
- Travel bookings and itinerary management
- Preparation of reports, presentations, briefs and meeting documentation
- Drafting correspondence and professional communications
- Taking minutes and following up on actions and deadlines
- Supporting board and committee meetings
- Assisting with events, community initiatives and project coordination
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
- Maintaining confidential records and sensitive information
- Supporting ongoing process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives
What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Previous experience supporting senior leaders or executives
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- High attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
- A professional, discreet and trustworthy approach
- Strong Microsoft Office/Microsoft 365 skills
- The ability to work autonomously and use initiative
- Experience coordinating events, projects or stakeholder activities
- A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to roll up your sleeves
- Resilience and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
