Flagship Manager | Luxury Italian Furniture

Our client is a family-owned Italian furniture manufacturer with a global presence in luxury design, recently transitioning its Australian operations from a distributor model to a directly run subsidiary. Their Sydney Flagship Showroom is the primary face of the brand locally, showcasing kitchens, wardrobe systems and furniture to clients, architects and the design community. They're looking for a hands-on Flagship Manager to take ownership of the showroom, leading the retail team while driving commercial performance, structure and culture across the space.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day showroom operations, setting the standard for customer experience, presentation and brand consistency.
- Manage and coach a cross-functional team including retail consultants, technical designers, BDMs and support staff.
- Introduce structure across the team, including KPI tracking, reporting frameworks and training.
- Take ownership of showroom performance, including pipeline, conversion, order intake, invoiced sales and CRM compliance.
- Report regularly to senior leadership on sales, forecasting, team productivity and showroom traffic.
- Build relationships with architects, designers, developers and industry stakeholders to generate new opportunities.
- Plan and run showroom events and brand activations to build market presence.
- Oversee facilities and maintenance to keep the showroom at a luxury retail standard.
- Work closely with finance, logistics and installation teams to ensure a smooth client journey from prospect to delivery.
Skills & Experience
- Leadership experience within luxury retail, furniture, interiors, premium property or a related industry.
- Strong track record leading teams in a premium, customer-facing environment.
- Solid commercial acumen, with experience managing sales performance, reporting and operational structure.
- Confident using CRM and reporting platforms; Microsoft Outlook proficiency essential.
