Hays Recruitment is currently seeking experienced FIFO Chefs to join our team and work across a variety of remote mining and accommodation villages throughout Western Australia. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy creating quality meals in a bulk catering setting, we'd love to hear from you.
Your new role
Working with some of WA's leading camp and catering providers, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality meals and maintaining exceptional food safety standards across a range of smaller FIFO sites.These sites typically accommodate between 20 and 350 residents, providing a more close-knit and team-focused working environment.Roster & Conditions:
- Predominantly 2:1 FIFO rosters
- 10-12 hour shifts
- Day and night shift opportunities available
- Various sites across regional Western Australia
- Flights, accommodation and meals provided whilst on site
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have previous FIFO or bulk catering experience and a strong commitment to quality and safety.Essential Requirements:
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or higher)
- Previous FIFO Chef experience within Australia
- WA Manual Driver's Licence
- Supervisor Safe Food Handling Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to provide recent, contactable references
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including regular drug and alcohol screenings
