Our client is looking for a People & Culture Coordinator to join a fast-paced construction business. It's a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in a high-performing People & Culture team, with genuine progression on offer.
You'll own onboarding and offboarding end to end, plus support recruitment coordination and Learning & Development (L&D) admin, working closely with leaders across a multi-site team

Key Responsibilities
- Manage pre-boarding for every new starter, verifying compliance documents (White Card, working rights, super and tax forms) before their first day
- Coordinate IT access, equipment and induction schedules so new starters are fully set up from day one
- Deliver a warm, well-organised first-week experience, including scheduling site safety inductions
- Schedule onboarding check-ins at 1, 3 and 5 months, tracking themes and flagging risks early – this role coordinates the check ins, but doesn’t run them
- Own the offboarding checklist end to end, including exit documentation, final pay coordination and return of company property
- Notify relevant teams (IT, Payroll, Facilities) of departures promptly to manage access and security
- Coordinate exit interviews and summarise key themes for leadership – this role schedules the exit interviews, rather than runs them.
- Support recruitment coordination, including interview scheduling, job ad postings and candidate communications
- Maintain accurate, audit-ready records across onboarding, offboarding and recruitment systems
- Coordinate logistics and record-keeping for L&D training sessions
What We're Looking For
- 1 to 2+ years' HR/P&C or TA experience
- Construction or trades exposure a plus
- Excellent understanding of Fair Work legislation
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Confident with ATS/HRIS and Microsoft 365
- Qualification in HR or a closely related field
