How will you make an impact?

As the Senior Manager, Governance & Office of the FAR, you'll play a key role in strengthening Hostplus' governance framework, supporting Board and corporate governance activities, and ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations across the Fund.

The opportunity

  • Lead the implementation, review and ongoing maintenance of key governance frameworks, policies and controls.
  • Support Board and Committee governance activities, director appointments, onboarding and governance documentation.
  • Maintain the Financial Accountability Regime (FAR) framework, supporting Accountable Persons and Board reporting.
  • Manage ASIC and APRA governance-related lodgments, notifications and regulatory obligations.
  • Oversee Fit and Proper assessments, conflicts management and governance disclosures.
  • Manage regulator engagement records and policy governance processes.
  • Provide governance advice, reporting, training and insights to senior leaders, the Board and Committees.

About you

  • Bachelor's degree in Law and/or governance-related qualifications are highly regarded.
  • Significant experience in governance, legal, compliance or company secretariat functions within financial services or superannuation.
  • Strong understanding of governance obligations under APRA and ASIC regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience developing, implementing and monitoring governance frameworks, policies and controls.
  • Skilled in regulator engagement, Board governance and corporate reporting.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
