A06 Human Resources Business Partner - WHS

Public Sector People are working with a QLD State Government Department, based in Brisbane CBD who are seeking an experienced A06 Human Resources Business Partner on a temp contract with its main responsibility being to improve organisational capability, operational efficiency, Work Health and Safety and employee experience.
  
Here are the details of the role:
  

• Role title: AO6 Human Resources - WHS
• Pay: Up from $79 per hour + 12% super
• Location: Brisbane, CBD.
• Client: QLD State Government
• Start date: ASAP start
• Contract length: Initial contract until February 2027 (+ extension)
• Hours: 36.5 hours per week Monday to Friday

  
What you will be doing:
  

• Provide timely, pragmatic HR advice to leaders and employees across the employee lifecycle (e.g., workforce matters, performance, conduct and workplace change).
• Provide operational and advisory support on workplace health, safety and wellbeing matters, including: Injury management and return to work, Psychosocial risk and wellbeing initiatives, WHS incident response and reporting, Interpretation of WHS legislation, policies and procedures.
• Support managers in managing employee health, safety and wellbeing matters, including coaching on obligations and practical solutions.
• Contribute to the implementation and continuous improvement of WHS programs, systems and processes, ensuring alignment with legislative and public sector requirements.
• Assist in monitoring and analysing data to identify trends, risks and opportunities, and support evidence-based decision making.
