On-Road Business Development Manager
- Develop and grow business with residential builders and trade customers.
- Conduct product presentations and prepare quotations.
- Manage a sales pipeline and provide sales reporting.
Our client is a Southeast Queensland company providing high quality building materials and tools for both trade professionals and retail customers.
Continuing to expand they are looking for a person to help grow their business with residential builders, bathroom renovation companies, tiling contractors, waterproofers and other trade customers across South East Queensland.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience with on-road sales or business development with a tile, waterproofing, flooring, bathroom or construction products supplier (industry experience is a non-negotiable).
The ideal candidate should have:
An established and active network of residential builders, bathroom renovators, tiling contractors and relevant industry contacts
A proven record of winning new trade accounts and increasing customer spend
Strong prospecting and new-business-development capability, rather than only maintaining existing accounts
Experience making regular customer and construction-site visits
The ability to conduct product presentations, prepare quotations, negotiate pricing and follow opportunities through to conversion
Good knowledge of tiles, adhesives, waterproofing products, flooring preparation products, trims, drains or related building materials
The ability to manage a sales pipeline, use a CRM and provide clear weekly activity and sales reporting
A current driver's licence and the ability to travel throughout South East Queensland
