Reliability & Identity Systems Administrator

We are seeking an experienced Reliability & Identity Systems Administrator to support enterprise identity and access management services within a large and complex technology environment.
This is a hands-on operational role focused on the administration, support, maintenance and continuous improvement of critical identity services supporting users and business systems across the organisation.
The Role
You will work across a range of enterprise identity technologies, providing day-to-day operational support while contributing to the security, reliability and resilience of identity services.
Key responsibilities include:
- Administering Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID and eDirectory
- Managing user provisioning, de-provisioning and access
- Supporting authentication, authorisation and privileged access
- Troubleshooting complex identity and access issues
- Monitoring service health, performance and availability
- Supporting upgrades, patching and platform lifecycle activities
- Contributing to identity-related projects and technology enhancements
- Supporting SSO, MFA, federation and directory synchronisation
- Maintaining operational documentation, procedures and knowledge articles
- Working across infrastructure, cyber, cloud and application teams
- Supporting access reviews, governance and audit requirements
- Identifying opportunities for automation and process improvement
About You
You will bring demonstrated experience working with enterprise identity and access management environments, including strong hands-on experience with:
- Microsoft Active Directory
- Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD
- Identity lifecycle management
- Authentication and authorisation
- Privileged access management
- Directory services and synchronisation
- Enterprise incident, problem and change management
Experience with eDirectory, federation, SSO, MFA and Conditional Access will be highly regarded.
You will also have strong troubleshooting and analytical capabilities, with the ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
Experience within a large government or enterprise environment is highly desirable.
Location & Working Arrangements
The primary location is Carseldine, with resources managed as part of a broader technology pool. There may be opportunities or requirements to support projects based in the Brisbane CBD during the engagement.
The current working arrangement requires staff to work onsite a minimum of 50% of the time.
