Ayan Infotech are looking for a Junior Operation Support Analyst for a contract job opportunity in Melbourne.

Title: Junior Operation Support Analyst
Location: Melbourne
Type: Contract (6 months +)
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (2-3 days in office in Melbourne CBD)

Required Skills and Experience:

Technical Skills:

• Basic understanding of IT operations, systems, and infrastructure, including Linux & Windows Servers, Networks, Databases, and Storage.
• Appreciation of IP networking technology
• Appreciation of IT security
• Appreciation of Monitoring and Observability tools (Splunk, Zabbix).
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with incident management and ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, BMC Remedy).
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Office 365, and basic networking concepts.
• Ability to monitor systems and identify operational issues.
• Strong communication and customer service skills to support end users.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
• Basic understanding of ITIL principles and service management practices.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and escalate issues appropriately.
