The Opportunity
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join our team in Melbourne as a People & Culture Business Partner on a 12 month fixed term contract. Reporting to the APAC P&C Director, this role forms an integral part of our business partnering team focussing on our Melbourne based Finance, Litigation and Advisory legal teams and supporting the Melbourne Operations teams.
You will provide advice, coaching and support to Partners, business function leaders and employees across the employee lifecycle. Working collaboratively with global P&C leads you will play a role in shaping the employee experience and delivering people solutions across a range of areas including culture development, retaining and developing talent, wellbeing and employment relations case management.

We are interested in hearing from people who have:
- Previous HR business partnering experience ideally gained within a law firm, professional services firm or partnership structure
- Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to engage, influence and coach stakeholders at all levels
- Good commercial acumen with the ability to see the big picture whilst maintaining attention to detail and delivering hands on implementation across the full spectrum of HR
- A warm, approachable manner underpinned by genuine energy, enthusiasm and a curiosity to learn and grow
- Solid working knowledge of Australian employment legislation and contemporary HR practice
Role available for commencement from mid December/early January
