Senior HR Advisor opportunity working for an Australia Retail brand, supporting a NSW and VIC store network

Working for a leading luxury Australian retail brand with stores across Sydney, NSW and Melbourne, offering high end aspirational products and services. Reporting to the Head of HR, this is an HR Advisor opportunity, covering end to end employee life cycle whilst business partnering with the retail store operations and Head Office.
Your new role
As an experienced HR Advisor who enjoys being out and about visiting your client groups, you will support a state based store network of 20 + sites in Sydney and Melbourne. Reporting to a Head of HR, the main focus of the role will include:

• Recruitment and onboarding (including seasonal recruitment campaigns)
• Employee relations, modern award interpretation and advising on legislation, HR processes and policies
• HR administration including contract generation, HRIS management
• Managing any performance issues at store level and workplace investigations
• WHS and RTW administration, workers' comp and wellbeing programs
• Lead on engagement surveys, strategic people initiatives with the Head of HR
• You will be expected to visit stores on a regular basis to develop relationships with employees and managers, providing advice and education on ER and HR issues.
• This role will have travel involved, so you must have a driving licence and access to a car

What you'll need to succeed

• You will be an experienced HR Advisor who, ideally, has at least 23 years at advisory level
• You will be fully experienced in ER and performance management issues, and have managed end to end investigations
• You will be experienced in interpreting modern awards and advising on employment legislation in person and on the phone
• You will have worked in the retail sector or in a multi-site role/similar aligned industries such as QSR, Hospitality, FMCG or other customer facing brands
• You will have strong administration skills and enjoy recruitment and onboarding
• Knowledge of Workers Comp and RTW will also be desirable
• You must have access to a car and be happy to travel as part of your role, whilst working at the HQ also in Sydney
