Initial 4-month temporary Organisational Development Consultant opportunity within state government.

Your new company
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Organisational Development professional to join a high-performing team within a government organisation. Working across strategic workforce initiatives, you will play a key role in strengthening organisational capability, supporting change initiatives, and enhancing employee engagement outcomes.
Your new role
As the Organisational Development Consultant, you will lead a range of workforce and capability projects, including:

  • Developing capability frameworks and learning pathways for policy professionals.
  • Identifying capability requirements and proficiency standards across career stages.
  • Designing and implementing learning solutions using contemporary learning methodologies.
  • Creating assessment frameworks, milestones, and capability measures.
  • Developing practical change management frameworks, tools, and guidance materials.
  • Supporting organisational change initiatives through best-practice approaches.
  • Analysing employee engagement survey data and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Providing recommendations to enhance workforce capability, engagement, and performance.
  • Managing stakeholder relationships and engaging with subject-matter experts across the organisation.
  • Preparing project plans, reports, and high-quality written documentation.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

  • Previous experience in Organisational Development, Learning & Development, or a related discipline.
  • Experience developing capability frameworks or learning pathways.
  • Strong understanding of organisational effectiveness, workforce capability, and change management principles.
  • Experience working across multiple projects and engaging with diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent written communication and project management skills.
  • The ability to analyse workforce data and provide practical recommendations.
  • Previous government experience will be highly regarded but is not essential.
