Food Service Assistant Be the difference in a fulfilling work environment. We are currently seeking motivated casual Food Service Assistants FSA's, to join our team working in aged care facilities throughout Melbourne. Our clients are seeking reliable people to assist with casual shifts that will vary on a daily & weekly basis. These oncall shifts will fit with people that are seeking work to suit limited availability offering a great work life balance. To be successful working within Aged Care you will need to have completed a recent police check and have your shots up to date including the Flu jab. Position duties: Food Service Assistants are responsible for supporting the provision of high-quality catering services within aged care facilities. As a Food Services Assistant you will work as part of a team to provide meal services to residents. This includes:

• Perform basic food preparation
• Prepare basic meals (under supervision)
• Clean food preparation, kitchen equipment and eating areas
• Serving and delivery of meals

What you bring to this position:

• Food Safety Certificate Level I or II
• Previous experience working in an aged care environment
• Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate effectively and compassionately
• Demonstrated initiative and the capability to work with minimal supervision
