Learning Design Specialist (Multiple Positions)

• Initial contract until June 2027 with possible extension. 
• Attractive daily rate based on experience 
• Hybrid arrangement – In office when the work requires (likely 50% of the time) and home for the deep-thinking work.
• Work Location: Petersham (there may be some requirement to travel in Sydney CBD)

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: 

In this role, you will be responsible for design and development of engaging learning content using a variety of learning creation tools and platforms. 
  
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: 

• Create engaging, high quality and compelling course content and artefacts that meet the required needs of our clients.  
• Engage with clients to identify specific learning outcomes and or requirements inclusive of delivery methods, content type and regulatory and legislative outcomes or requirements.  
• Conduct TNA, prepare story boards and supporting artefacts to create detailed course content for varied audiences cover a broad range of learning levels. 
• Create supporting learning material such as audio, video, simulations, work instructions, quick reference guides, role plays, games etc. that align to client objectives.  
• Ensure training artefacts developed are in line with the required and or agreed standards/regulations and where applicable develop learning content that meet the compliance standards as outlined within the relevant VET Standards. 

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: 

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40116 (or its successor or equivalent) and/or other relevant tertiary qualifications or demonstrated equivalent relevant experience. 
• Proficiency in a wide range of learning creation tools.
