Job Details We’re pleased to be partnering with this ASX listed construction and manufacturing business during a significant transformation and growth phase. With operations nationally and a strong footprint across high-risk operational environments, the organisation is investing heavily in leadership capability, systems, culture and operational excellence. An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Safety Manager to join the Victorian operations team, supporting three key sites in Melbourne’s western suburbs and regional Victoria. Reporting to the national General Manager HSEQ, this role will play a critical part in uplifting safety culture, strengthening leadership capability and driving a more connected, engagement-led approach to safety across the Victorian sites. This is a highly visible, site-based leadership role suited to someone who enjoys partnering closely with operational leaders, building trust with frontline teams and influencing cultural change. What we’re looking for: Demonstrated safety leadership experience within heavy industry, manufacturing, construction or similarly high-risk operational environments; Strong engagement and influencing capability with the ability to build credibility across both site-based and corporate stakeholders; A coaching approach to safety leadership rather than a purely compliance-driven style; Experience working across multi-site operations; Practical understanding of contractor management, high-risk work environments and operational risk reduction; and Relevant safety qualifications and a contemporary understanding of workplace health and safety legislation.
