 You'll keep specialist outpatient services running smoothly — managing appointments, patient records, and clinic coordination for a multidisciplinary clinical team. It's a grounded, purposeful role for someone who takes pride in precise, patient-focused administration within the Southern Adelaide Local Health Network.

About the role: 

Reporting to the Head of Unit, this role is responsible for providing and coordinating quality focused, timely and confidential administrative support to contribute to the efficiency of the unit’s administrative functions.

Duties for the role will include:

  • Provide quality & accurate administrative support services including word processing, data entry, photocopying, project work, preparation of correspondence, general filing, scheduling, and preparing for meetings and minute taking as required,
  • Provide administrative support to the Head of Unit including project work as required,
  • Provide effective and timely referral of internal and external client telephone queries and incoming correspondence to the appropriate staff member as required,
  • Satisfying customer inquiries and resolving issues within SA Health guidelines in a timely, accurate and concise manner

About you:

  • Ability to efficiently use Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook programs,
  • Ability to communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing,
  • Ability to manage and prioritise own work and meet deadlines,
  • Experience in providing a confidential clerical and administrative support service,
  • Experience in working with the suite of office tools (incl. Word, Excel etc.),
  • Proven experience in delivering high quality and safe care consistent with the National Safety and Quality Health Care Service Standards. (Mandatory for all clinical positions)
