6-8 week temporary Receptionist located at Cannon Hill
Your new company
Our client is a well-established organisation within the defence industry, recognised for delivering innovative solutions and supporting critical projects across Australia. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Receptionist to join their team based in Cannon Hill.
Your new role
As the first point of contact for the business, you will play an integral role in creating a positive experience for visitors, clients, and employees. This is a Monday to Friday position, working approximately 8:00am to 5:00pm with a one-hour unpaid lunch break. There is flexibility around start and finish times.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the reception desk and welcoming visitors to site
- Answering and directing incoming phone calls
- Monitoring and responding to email enquiries
- Coordinating visitor sign-in procedures within a secure environment
- General administrative and reception support
- Maintaining a professional and organised front-of-house area
- Assisting with ad hoc office administration duties as required
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in a reception, administration, or customer-facing position
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A friendly, approachable, and professional manner
- The ability to learn quickly and ask questions when required
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Australian Citizenship, with the ability to obtain a Defence Security Clearance
- Availability to commence immediately
