Senior Management Accountant

Our client is seeking a management accountant to join their finance team. This varied role combines hands-on accounting with financial reporting, analysis and business partnering, providing valuable exposure to the broader financial performance of a manufacturing site.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage bank and balance sheet reconciliations, journals, accruals and month-end close.
• Prepare monthly P&L reporting, variance analysis and management commentary.
• Manage inventory accounting, including stock reconciliations, valuation, provisions and variance analysis.
• Analyse production costs, labour, overhead and inventory variances.
• Track capital expenditure and maintain supporting records.
• Produce KPI reports, dashboards and site performance reporting.
• Partner with operational teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
• Maintain strong financial controls, system accuracy and compliance, while identifying process improvements.
• Provide support and mentoring to team members and limited cover for routine Financial Controller activities.
