A well-respected Tasmanian company is seeking an experienced administrator for ongoing temporary work.

Your new company
Hays Recruitment are partnering with a well-established Tasmanian business to recruit an experienced Administration Officer for an ongoing temporary assignment based in Launceston. This newly created position has been established to support a busy service division through a period of growth, process improvement and the implementation of new business systems.
Your new role
Working closely with operational leaders, service teams and administration staff, you will provide broad administrative support across a range of business functions, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and solving problems.

Key responsibilities will include:
Data entry and asset data capture for new business systems
Maintaining and updating databases and records
Assisting with reporting, compliance documentation and maintenance schedules
Creating and improving administrative processes and templates
Supporting service and maintenance contract administration activities
Assisting with invoicing and general administration as required
Providing support across the wider administration team during periods of leave or increased workload
Working closely with internal stakeholders to improve efficiency and support system implementation initiatives

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will be a confident and organised administrator with strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
You will ideally have: Previous experience in an administration, project administration or service administration role
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Strong data entry and database management capability
The ability to work autonomously and take ownership of tasks and processes
A flexible and adaptable approach to changing priorities
Strong interpersonal skills and the confidence to work with operational staff and tradespeople
Experience working within construction, trade, facilities management, services or a similar industry will be highly regarded.
