MS Stock Contracting Pty Ltd t/a MS Contracting are seeking reliable and hardworking Housekeepers to join our remote camp operations in the Northern Territory. The successful applicants will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation across guest accommodation, communal facilities and designated camp areas, ensuring a clean, comfortable and welcoming environment for camp residents.
Applicants must have:
- Relevant qualification AQF I or secondary education with at least one year of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of cleaning methods, hygiene standards and safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Ability to perform physically demanding housekeeping duties in a remote camp environment.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow workplace instructions and cleaning procedures.
- Willingness to work in a remote location and comply with workplace health and safety requirements.
Your role will include, but is not limited to:
- Clean and maintain guest accommodation, including bedrooms, bathrooms, ensuites and other accommodation facilities.
- Perform routine daily, weekly and departure housekeeping services in accordance with established cleaning schedules and procedures.
- Make beds, change bed linen and replace towels and other guest amenities as required.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean floors, furniture, fixtures and surfaces throughout accommodation and communal areas.
- Clean and sanitise bathrooms, toilets, showers, washbasins and other sanitary facilities.
- Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold and distribute bed linen, towels and guest laundry.
- Replenish toilet paper, soap, cleaning supplies and other essential amenities in guest rooms and communal facilities.
- Empty rubbish bins and dispose of waste in accordance with workplace hygiene and waste management procedures.
- Clean and maintain shared facilities, including dining areas, recreation rooms, offices and laundry facilities.
- Wipe down and sanitise dining tables, benches and other communal surfaces, ensuring facilities remain clean and presentable.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of laundry facilities, cleaning equipment and housekeeping storage areas.
- Follow established cleaning schedules, workplace health and safety procedures and hygiene standards.
- Complete room cleaning and laundry checklists and report maintenance issues, damaged equipment or cleaning concerns to the Camp Manager.
- Work collaboratively with other housekeeping staff and follow reasonable directions from supervisors to support daily camp operations.
A salary of $65,000-$80,000 per annum + superannuation will be offered to the successful candidate.
