We're looking for an experienced and people-focused Head of People Operations - APAC to lead our Employee Relations and People Operations function across Australia, New Zealand and Singapore.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing global People Team and lead a team of five specialists responsible for delivering exceptional employee experiences, expert employee relations support and efficient people operations services across the region.

You'll play a key role in shaping and delivering our people strategy by leading employee relations, operational excellence, compliance, transformation initiatives and change programmes. You'll partner closely with business leaders, People Business Partners and global colleagues to ensure our people practices support both our employees and business objectives.
This role is based out of our Melbourne office, with a hybrid and flexible approach to working.
What you'll be responsible for
- Leading Employee Relations and People Operations across the APAC region.
- Managing and developing a team of five People Operations and ER professionals.
- Providing expert guidance on complex employee relations matters, investigations and case management.
- Ensuring HR policies, procedures and frameworks remain compliant across Australia, New Zealand and Singapore.
- Driving continuous improvement, automation and standardisation of people processes.
- Supporting organisational change, restructures, acquisitions and transformation programmes.
- Leading cross-functional people projects in partnership with Payroll, Communications, Legal and business leaders.
- Building strong stakeholder relationships through effective communication, coaching and training.
- Ensuring operational services are delivered efficiently and in line with agreed service standards.

Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of employment legislation and employee relations practices across Australia, New Zealand and Singapore.
- Previous experience leading an Employee Relations, People Operations or HR Operations function.
- Experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Proven track record of driving HR transformation, process improvement and operational excellence.
- Strong project and change management experience.
- Excellent stakeholder management, coaching and influencing skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working within a global organisation or matrix environment.
Nice to have
- Broader HR generalist experience across multiple areas of People and Culture.
- Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions or large-scale organisational change programmes.
- Exposure to HR technology transformation and automation initiatives.
