Your new company
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced project professional to join a respected Queensland Government agency responsible for promoting transparency, accountability and information privacy across the public sector. This is a unique project-based role supporting the implementation of a new annual reporting framework that will collect, analyse and report statistical information from government agencies across Queensland. Working closely with senior stakeholders, and external agencies, you will coordinate project activities, manage reporting processes and support successful delivery of a high-profile legislative reporting initiative.
Your new role
- Coordinate the delivery of a significant statewide reporting project
- Develop project plans, briefings, reports and progress updates
- Manage project risks, dependencies and reporting activities
- Engage with government agencies and key stakeholders across Queensland
- Coordinate reference group meetings and stakeholder workshops
- Develop reporting processes, templates and supporting documentation
- Support business readiness, change activities and implementation planning
- Build strong relationships to ensure successful project outcomes and stakeholder engagement.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Demonstrated project coordination, project management or program delivery experience
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
- Excellent written communication skills with experience preparing reports, briefings and project documentation
- The ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes within tight timeframes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Experience working within government, regulatory, compliance, data reporting or policy environments will be highly regarded
- Exposure to data collection, reporting, business improvement or change initiatives would be advantageous
