An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Contract Administrator to join a growing project delivery team working on projects valued from $10M upwards.You'll work closely with Project Managers, Site Managers, clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered successfully from procurement through to final account.The role offers exposure to a diverse mix of industrial and commercial developments, providing plenty of variety and long-term career development.Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing subcontractor procurement and tendering processes
  • Letting and administering subcontract packages
  • Preparing, assessing, and negotiating variations
  • Managing project budgets, forecasts, and cost reporting
  • Reviewing and processing progress claims
  • Assisting with contract administration throughout the project lifecycle
  • Building strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors
  • Supporting the successful delivery of projects from commencement to completion

What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous experience as a Contract Administrator within the Australian construction market
  • Experience delivering commercial or industrial projects valued at $10M+
  • Strong understanding of contract administration, procurement, and cost control
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and build lasting relationships
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Stable employment history demonstrating longevity and commitment
  • A proactive attitude with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Australian construction experience is highly preferred
