Casual Chef - Miss Pearl Bar & Dining
We are hiring an enthusiastic Casual Chef (Level 3) to join our dynamic team at Miss Pearl Bar & Dining, located within the Melbourne Theatre Company, Southbank. Our kitchen produces an exciting Asian-inspired seasonal menu in a fast-paced setting, providing our customers with a memorable dining experience. This role also involves preparing dishes for a wide variety of functions and events held at the MTC.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Casual position
- Work closely with the team to ensure efficient food production and quality control
- Ensure the highest standards of presentation and quality

- Shifts are Wednesday to Saturday evenings
- Hourly rate aligned with Level 3 (Cook Grade 2)
ABOUT YOU
- Experience in a fast-paced restaurant or events environment
- Sound knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and hygiene standards
- Excellent communication skills
- A passion for cooking, adaptability, and an eagerness to learn new skills
- Valid Australian work rights
