  • $68.75 per hour + Penalties
  • Monday Friday | 6:00am 3:00pm
  • Location: Beresfield

About Our Client

Our client is a leading organisation in the heavy vehicle and mechanical industry, providing quality maintenance and mechanical services. This is a great opportunity for an experienced mechanic looking to step into a Workshop Leading Hand position and support a busy workshop team.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Leading and supporting the workshop team with day-to-day mechanical repairs and maintenance.
  • Carrying out servicing, inspections, fault finding and repairs on heavy vehicles and equipment.
  • Ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Supporting workshop planning and coordinating jobs as required.
  • Assisting with welding, fabrication and hot work were required.

What You Will Need

  • Mechanical Trade Qualification Certificate III Automotive Mechanical Technology or equivalent.
  • Current Trade Licence.
  • Current valid Driver Licence.
  • Current valid HR or HC Licence.
  • Previous experience in a workshop or leading hand position.
  • Welding, fabrication, hot work and confined space qualifications or experience are highly regarded.
