Welder (Pipe Site Welder)

Reimann Manufacturing has a long history of delivering turnkey pipe work projects from prefabrication right through to installation on site. We also have capabilities to complete structural steel and heavy fab projects. Reimann manufacturing is a multi-generational business that is family focused, taking on some of South Australia’s large projects.

We are currently seeking multiple qualified Welders (Welder (First Class)) to join our growing team on a full-time basis to service the water infrastructure, renewable energy and mining industries.

Duties and responsibilities

· Interpret and work from technical drawings, blueprints and specifications

· Measure, cut, shape and assemble metal components using hand and power tools

· Perform welding tasks (MIG, TIG and/or Stick welding) to join metal sections and structures

· Prepare and position materials prior to welding, ensuring alignment and accuracy

· Operate fabrication equipment such as saws, presses, brakes, grinders and cutting machines

· Inspect and test finished products and welded joints for quality, strength and compliance

· Conduct repairs, modifications and maintenance of metal structures as required

· Maintain a clean and safe work environment in line with WHS requirements

The successful applicant must possess experience in:

· Pipe fitting

· Pipe welding (out of position and under rotation)

· Site and workshop welding

· The ability to read and interpret workshop drawings

· Good communication skills

· Own transport & current vehicle license

Qualifications and skills

· Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication (Welding)

· Minimum 3 years of work experience in the nominated occupation

People with experience in working with MSCL will be highly regarded
