Warehouse Storeperson / LF Forklift Operator
Dandenong South, VIC
$37.50 per hour + Super | Weekly Pay
Casual Position with Full-Time Hours
Monday to Friday | 6:30am - 2:30pm
Our client is a globally recognised manufacturer and supplier of industrial power transmission and fluid power solutions, servicing a diverse range of industries including manufacturing, automotive, transport, agriculture, mining and industrial operations.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Warehouse Storeperson / LF Forklift Operator to join their Dandenong South distribution team.
About the Role
This is a hands-on warehouse position combining forklift operation, dispatch, freight processing and inventory management. We are looking for a reliable team member who takes pride in maintaining accuracy, safety and efficiency in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Wrap and secure pallets for dispatch, ensuring loads are safe and transport-ready.
- Create consignments and process freight using warehouse and transport management systems.
- Operate LF forklifts to safely load and unload trucks.
- Receive, inspect and accurately dispatch customer orders.
- Perform stock movements and assist with inventory control activities.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organisation.
- Complete manual handling tasks as required.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
- Current LF Forklift Licence.
- Extensive forklift experience, particularly loading and unloading trucks.
- Strong experience wrapping pallets and preparing freight for dispatch.
- Good computer skills, including experience creating consignments and processing shipping paperwork.
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good physical fitness and willingness to perform manual warehouse duties.
- Reliable work ethic with excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
