Your new role
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Warehouse Distribution Coordinator to join a busy and fast-paced distribution centre. Reporting to the Warehouse Leadership Team, you will play a key role in coordinating daily warehouse operations to ensure products are accurately received, stored, and dispatched to customers on time.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating inbound and outbound warehouse activities
- Monitoring inventory movements and stock accuracy
- Liaising with transport providers and internal stakeholders
- Scheduling and coordinating daily dispatch requirements
- Supporting warehouse staff to meet operational targets
- Maintaining compliance with workplace health and safety procedures
- Assisting with continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse operations
- Ensuring customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this position, you will have:
- Previous experience in a warehouse coordination, logistics, or distribution role
- Strong understanding of inventory management and warehouse processes
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- High attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders
- Intermediate computer skills and experience using warehouse management systems
- A current forklift licence is advantageous but not essential
- A proactive attitude and willingness to work within a team environment
