The Opportunity
The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for receiving and dispatching goods, controlling inventory movement and storage in the warehouse and the yard, and unloading/loading trucks to ensure best practices and chain of responsibility are applied.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving, storing, and delivering goods.
- First point of contact to resolve issues with scanning parts or issues related to the transfer of parts or parts being available in ODOO for Production to use in Assembly.
- Data entry in the system, including Goods Receipt and MAVs delivery.
- Maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy and undertaking regular stocktakes.
- Loading and/or unloading MAVs on trucks according to loading plans and SOP.
- Replenish decanting/parts preparation areas, including pallets of modules.
- Housekeeping and maintenance of the warehouse area and the yard.
- Provide on-the-job training, daily guidance, and task coordination for warehouse staff as a team leader.
- Work safely and make sure that all Company Environment, Health & Safety Policies and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) are always followed, and any risks are eliminated.
- Ensure traffic management is applied.
- Support production activities (e.g. MAV packing, moving MAVS out of the assembly line, loading pallets of modules on trolleys, and rail preparation).
- Report daily operational metrics, shift performance, and inventory health directly to the Production Planning Manager.
About You
- Experience coordinating daily warehouse workflows, allocating tasks, or acting in a shift supervisor/lead capacity
- Experience with operating inventory systems
- Good communication skills
- Can-do attitude
- A proven track record of meeting deadlines and adhering to timetables
- Forklift licence and experience essential
- Computer skills
- Knowledge/understanding of ERP software and basic data entry (Goods Receipts, stock movement etc
- Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
- Knowledge and application of Industrial and personal safety behaviours including COR responsibilities
